Hey Maurice, can you make the water (EDIT:that wipes out the gel) from portal 2

Actually it's not Gel. It's just water. But I think this would be kinda cool for puzzles.

speaking of water... shouldn't we die instantly in water levels? GLaDOS does say 'do not submerse the device into water' and all lol

To the extent that the white paint does get washed away but it doesn't destroy the portal. This probably has to do with the gel narrowly hitting the edges. It could be fixed by making objects funnel into a portal or by checking for portals on the tile it's colliding against. How should it behave in this instance?

I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't introduce any bugs/I was just interested in how it would work. Going with the mechanics of Portal 2, it shouldn't wash it off until the portal is removed, I guess. As long as it doesn't delete your portal, it will work fine. I hope Maurice adds it to the game!
