Hi guise! This is my first post on the stabyourself forums and I figured I'll start my forum career sharing with you guys my first Mari0 map :D

I'm loving the game by the way, much props Maurice and Sašo :)

Tell me what you guys think of my map!

The mappack has currently 4 maps and I'm adding more based on suggestions ;)

The first suggestion involved difficulty, which I hope addressed in 1-4. Please, try not to be upset by the high difficulty curve between 1-3 and 1-4.

Please if you notice ways in which I can improve this please don't shy to post! :D

Creativity: 2.00/5.00 (Had some neat ideas. Try merging your ideas with ideas from other peoples levels.)

Diversity: 1.00/5.00 (Wasn't much different from what I've played.)

Length: 0.50/5.00 (Kinda short. Could be extended.)

Fun: 1.25/5.00 (Not alot of fun to be honest, but had some fun.)

Challenge: 0.00/5.00 (Not much of a challenge. Try increasing the difficulty.)

Overall: 4.75/25.00 (I liked the ideas in here, but you could've thought them out more. Could've tried to make it more abstract from others levels. You could've made atleast like 2-3 more levels before releasing as a demo/beta. Not much fun to be honest. Pretty easy. And that's where I'm stopping cause I don't want to go any farther with this.)

Gonna give this one a whirl and see how it goes. I'll let you know what I think later on.

First Impression: Okay for a first timer, but not great.

1-1: I liked the simplistic design of the level, but the puzzle was extremely easy. Though okay so far. -2 (8/10)

1-2: I have to say this was a little harder but barely, but I liked the idea. -1 (7/10)

1-3: Design+Puzzle were both pretty neat, however still too easy. -1 (6/10)

End Impression: Honestly, the name is pretty misleading. I would've thought it would've been hard, but it was the exact opposite of hard. Level Design was nice, and the puzzles were pretty neat.
Yeah, pretty much exactly why it's a WIP. I want the levels to get harder in small increments and currently I'm working on a much harder version of 1-2 where you need to be facing the right way while holding that cube while the plates guide you. But would like to do more of these types of puzzles if I up the difficulty a little bit? :)

These puzzles were nice, but I heavily suggest on making it harder.

Okay! Updated it so there's a 1-4. The difficulty might just be a little too high though.. 3 lives doesn't seem like enough.

Also adding this level makes me want to rename the mappack "Trial and Error" XD

Alright, will test and review.

Honestly, it was okay. Just the same idea from the last laser level. It was a little more bullshit this time, but none the less it was a bit harder. However, that Faith Plate jump is kinda of impossible, it's too high. Anyways, I played the last part. It was kinda fun, but honestly this was bad.

Oh really now? I'd tell you the solution but then it would kind of spoil it for everyone else playing the map :P

Hint: Look at the signs on the wall.

But hey, just to make you think a puzzle is impossible when it in fact is solvable is a win in my book! :)

No, I tried many things. It is impossible actually. You can't jump from the cube ontop it either actually, anyways. Keep trying, but I say redesign it.

Actually, you used a glitch technically. So it is impossible without glitching.

lol, it's still possible if you  drop the cube while you're midair then quickly jump off of it.

Listen man, there's fun puzzles and fun platforming, people tend to try to get a balance between the two but as long as something is fun in general you shouldn't judge it too harshly for not having enough of what you particularly like :)

I can tell you enjoy harder puzzles that involve platforming alot but you have to think of the crowd your making the maps for, your map might qualify for the hardcore portalers but I'm just trying to get somewhere in-between.

Also, I think some of your general opinions are a bit bias due to the fact you made your own map which you probably think is the best.

But hey, thanks for the feedback ;)

Why would I think my own map is the best?.

You don't? Maybe I've misjudged you. Whats your own opinion about your map? I think mine is pretty decent in terms of the puzzles but hopefully others feel the same.

I love your puzzles honestly, but they don't really seemed fully thought out.

And my own opinion?. I don't have an opinion about my own map.

I'm starting to get whiplash! I can see what you're talking about, but it's mostly because I did these all within a couple of hours. If I work a little longer on all of them I think I can fine tune them... but not today, i've been postponing my Sociology reading for too long!

I couldn't help myself, when I saw PvtVains bowser bridge video I wanted to make a puzzle involving it.. except the bridge is portable so I just used regular nonportable blocks.

Also, I tweaked down the difficulty a little bit on 1-4.

I played and made a video of the outdated version. I like it, but the difficulty seems low for a 'Don't Rage Quit' style of game. I'm sure that with more levels, you could easily make the difficulty insane, so I have high hopes for this.

Nice Review / Playthrough Consortium! When you get a chance make sure to try and play the updated version. It's also pretty neat watching someone else play your map because what you did at the beginning of 1-3 involving the portal placement wasn't actually intended when I made it. I extended 1-3 a bit, added a 1-4 and a 2-1 boss battle :)

If you don't rage I'll be surprised! I wish I could update it again but ME3 has 99% of my attention right now
