To be exact, here is my image of my menu select.

For me, I am using animations for each selection using specific key combinations. (Such as hold/walk left to start, or walk/hold right to access the extra menu/selection). It is pretty basic to do for me. All you have to do is make an animation that uses a button (single or combination) trigger to make the player access a corresponding area.
