Another few months have come and gone, and now it's time to revisit the world of the hidden ones... But things had changed...
Yet another mappack that took twice as long as I had hoped but here we are! Huge thanks to WilliamFrog who helped make a ton of enemies, helped me add some features to dialog, and just general support and testing, Couldn't have done it without you.
Help -
Checkpoints - Checkpoints are the big displays on poles you'll spot around the level, touching a checkpoint with an empty display will set it to your active checkpoint, you can still if this happened if the display changes to show a tick. It doesn't matter how you die, you'll be taken to your last active checkpoint, if you ever get softlocked you can hold down reload for one second to go back to your last checkpoint. Checkpoints ARE NOT saved between visits.
Waypoints - Waypoints are the two metal plates that show a white portal when you get close, they're are usually 4 or 5 in a level and they are locked until you visit the parent waypoint. These allow you to travel quickly back to areas you have previously visited as no one likes walking to the same area 4 times. You can use a waypoint by pressing the use/grab key when near it. When the display shows up you can either press use/grab again to close the display, press left or right to change destination or jump to teleport to the selected destination. You may also notice a waypoint named "hub", this allows you to quickly and effortlessly return to hub at any waypoint. Waypoints ARE saved between visits.
Sidenotes -
You may notice some small issues with dialogs and waypoints during your playthrough, enemies may appear above the displays, this is mealy due to enemy limitations. No amount of cloning and pain will ever give us access to a higher level due to the object structure of mari0.

Changes - V1 > V1.1
- fix spring softlock in Area 1
- made sound effects quieter
- changed smb spring graphic
- waypoints/checkpoints no longer spawn you in the floor when big
- changed some platforms above springs to be slightly lower
- changed waypoint blockers to smaller quads (for android)
