I'm sure you remember Short-Term Author, but if you don't, check this link: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=4516
Basically, a user submits a screenshot of a single screen's worth of level, and then the next user submits another screenshot, continuing the level by one screen, and another user posts another screenshot, and so on, until the level is finished, then all the screenshots are stitched together into a whole level, and the next level begins.
This time around, we're doing things a little differently. For starters, the version we are using is Alesan99's Entities, and we're using a specific tileset and set of backgrounds this time, which can be downloaded here >>> https://www.dropbox.com/s/a932a6rh1x9fh ... 1.zip?dl=1 <<< You're not allowed to use any of the default tiles, only custom ones(besides stuff like coinblocks, coins, invisible blocks, bowser bridges, things of that nature), and custom enemies are not allowed.
Each level is 8 screens(200 blocks) long, and are either horizontal or vertical only, decided by whichever user creates the first screen of a new level(eg. once a level is finished, the next user can decide if the next level is going to be horizontal or vertical). No secret warps or vines, but you are allowed to use warps to change the level's theme midway through(eg. placing a pipe in the middle of a level, so the next user can pick a new theme for the rest of the level)
I'll start:

Changed the asset kit download, because some of the pipe tiles were misaligned. Redownload and replace the tileset to fix the pipes.

I remember the first one not allowing you to post twice, and you aren't really supposed to start the other worlds until the other people gets in there to avoid confusion.

Exactly, you can't post two screens in a row, you have to wait for someone else. Only your first screenshot submission will be added. Current level length is 3/8 screens.
These are mostly just examples, to give people ideas and so I can Mess around with the tileset. Im new to these collabs.Technochips wrote: ↑28 Jul 2019, 14:43I remember the first one not allowing you to post twice, and you aren't really supposed to start the other worlds until the other people gets in there to avoid confusion.

this mappack is still relevant goddammit
I feel like I could improve the STA2 Tileset and backgrounds. Should I?
here's the tileset. It contains SMM2 versions of SMB1 and SMB2 pallets, pink pipes, bullet blasters, The bowser kingdom mushrooms in Mario Odyssey, night tiles, upside down properties, and more!
