Now I know what you're all thinking.
"Where have you been all this time!?"
Well after pulling the plug on A0zora and doing a bunch of smaller hacks/ports, I kinda disappeared from the Stabyourself mapping scene for quite some time.
After some encouragement from some old friends, I decided to try my hands at mapping again.
And this was the result:

Still in production, try out the first two worlds here. And a WIP of World 3 for when I resume this project again.

Contains custom music/

No demos, hmm? (Well I guess technically it's an alpha.)
Nice work so far! It's always nice to see another map, especially from a familiar map author. What you've got now looks good, if a little sparse at the moment.

Thx. :)
I'll be putting up a proper demo once I'm done with the first world or so.

Official demo is now live, contains the first four levels.

The pipe entrances/exits need to be configured manually in the editor, but otherwise every level is fully playable.
Future demos will probably have versions without custom music.
All criticism is accepted, since I want to make sure the first world is good before I move onto the second.

Here's a mirror with the pipes fixed: https://www.dropbox.com/s/652w79rqc1oes ... c.zip?dl=1
I only played enough to test all the pipes, but to reiterate what I keep saying on Discord, these look GORGEOUS. I'll give it a full playthrough real soon!

This mappack is pretty great. Level design is solid and the aesthetic is great. My only complaint is that the music is too loud, as it drowns out the rest of the sound effects. Can't wait to see what the rest of this is gonna be like.

Thanks; as for the music I'll make sure to drop their volume level before the next demo launches.Villager103 wrote:This mappack is pretty great. Level design is solid and the aesthetic is great. A long bump, but version 2 has been launched, with two new levels to explore!

The music volume of the custom songs have also been dropped.

The first boss fight is in complete silence. Is that intended?

Put it in the music folder and it should work

Since my Mac was having lots of issues I migrated my current progress to my PC and made some new levels for the project last month to finish up World 2 and begin some progress on what will become World 3.
As such, The first two worlds are now in a complete, playable state. You can grab the full download in the OP.

Additionally, here's a full rundown video on what I have so far.

Looks Really nice!
The difficulty curve is also well done, I imagine it will provide quite the challenge in the final world!
I also like the attention to the 3 color rule on tiles, it's a personal thing I'm glad to see realized.
P.S
Where did you get the music for the levels? They're really nice to listen to!

Looks great so far! I'll be glad to try it out once my computer gets fixed.
