No I won't stop the dumb names.

In this one I rip off I wanna be the guy instead of Syobon Action and everything's not a dick.

(some things may look odd in sections because I forgot to fix them before uploading and I'm not going to reupload for a few aesthetics.)
Enjoy.

If you want to use the transition effect in the map download this.

Just rename the template file to 1-1 or something along those lines and it'll give you about 9x9 screens.

Also no one really seems to care for this so should I just cancel the map or are there actually people who want to see this finished?

I would finish it. It's just really hard for me. I'll get around to beating it at some point.

I personally find it much more enjoyable than the predecessor, though that's probably since I can actually get past the first couple screens. I definitely say continue.

Where do you put the renamed template file?

in the SE mappack folder you're using, I'm guessing you're new to this but you can access where your map is by going into the game. select mappack and then press m.

I love it and
I notice you practically made a maze in 2-1.
That's pretty awesome stuff. It's very IWBTG but I love the SMB2 tie in. Gosh this is just very nice.

I like it, but I felt like the Toads were a bit overbearing in the starting area. At least add "disable this animation" to their talking animations

EDIT:I tried it, but it doesn't work.Maybe you should explain it differently.

Took me a bit too, you also need to take the "x 0-8" and "y 0-8" animation text files from the "animations" folder.

Nice painfully evil mappack.
I really liked how you used mostly Kirby 64 and Yoshi's Story music.
Mind if I use the Yoshi song?

I wanted to make a full review but then I realized this was a demo, so I'll wait until further along for that.
However what I played in the demo was fantastic. It definitely gives that IWBTG feel but it's on a much more manageable scale. And that boss in 3-1..... You outdid yourself.  (The bombs during the boss though did frustrate me, since they walk they sometimes didn't land where the Gordos were, and on the little edge above it. Small nitpick but it did happen a few times.)
Overall I enjoyed this, I recommend it to be played, and I'm waiting for the full version so I can give it a level-by-level review.

I'll be replacing them with stationary bombs in the final, honestly I don't know why I didn't.

Isn't that already in the tutorial level, though?

yeah but it's not a death trap it's a lesson, don't eat the candy if you're given the opportunity to eat candy.
