If someone comes to the topic and says: "Hey! That isn't Mari0!", I agree. It's nothing like before.

I was slightly bothered that the camera should follow Mario all the time. Not that it shouldn't, but that sometimes ruins some map packs I should've made. But with SE, it's solved. Giving you something completely out of the ordinary from Mario, without mods. The camera works like this: Instead of following mario around, it locks itself on it's place. And while on your way out of the screen, the screen follows mario and snaps itself on to another place, without losing sight of Mario.

All the things this map pack have:
One single world to explore, and escape.
New camera features (The main point of this).
Room names (Or rather: Room texts (They doesn't take themselves seriously. At all)).
Two different endings (One good, and one bad).
An unique feeling for Mari0.

Yeah, trying to work on it. But it seems that I can't rebuild it again. When I try, the game seems to crash because of different reasons and I tried 5 times so far. And reported them all to Maurice. But I'll keep trying, eventually it'll work.

This map pack seems really cool, and I hope that you are able to get past these issues and continue it, because I had a blast with the demo.
I have to ask, why "Dimentions" ... ... ... ...? I feel bad assuming that the spelling was intentional but I can't wrap my head around it :D
Also, I totally flipped out when I read that there will be different endings. WOW!!! :D
Well anyway, this is a map pack that I definitely plan on keeping track of.

The name was simply just because of unique-ness. I felt that it would be too typical to name it "Dimensions". But yeah, I see your point.

By the way, I got the problems (Hopefully) fixed! Just hope to god that nothing wrong happens while working on it. And thanks for all the support!

I tried that first, but it didn't work by some reason. The camera didn't move horizontally (Up and down). Also, it looked much better if I did it the way I did. I also forgot to report that to Maurice. Gonna experiment with it first, and then report. Just so I know what to report, and hopefully find out why it reacts like that.

Also, the map pack will be split up in multiple ones. Why is because the map needs to be in the first world, otherwise it crashes. Also, if the world is too big, you'll have to play for hours to finish it. Checkpoints doesn't save, if you didn't know.

It's badly optimized, that's why. It renders all blocks vertically, no matter if it's on the screen or not.
Horizontally, though, it doesn't.

Dunno. It doesn't matter to me anymore, though. Because I've dropped Mari0 for now. Moved over to Cave Story and Doom instead.
I will return when SE is officially released. But for now, I'm sticking to what I'm doing right now.

I shouldn't have chosen to map on Doom if SDK shouldn't have been so annoying with the "Compiling" part. It takes hours.
But anyway, mapping these things takes much more time than Mari0, that's for sure.

I was actually doing that, but I dropped it because of the "MUS" and "DGF" formats. It was next to impossible to convert files to these formats.
But I am mapping for both of them (Still learning DB2, though).

Anyway: Let's just leak a custom character for my Cave Story mod (Just for the heck of it):
