Description

Finally, after about 3 months of work, the mappack is in it's first playable version! It was finished off in a rush to release it for Christmas, so it definitely will be updated in the future. Leave feedback after playing!

In the Mushroom Kingdom, a secret, underground laboratory has been founded under the name "Toadstool Laboratories"! One of the test subjects, test subject 128 gets put through testing, but oh boy, things are not going as planned for the overseer!

I'm kind enough to give you folks some screenshots, here they are!

This mappack reminds me of Mad Science a bit, and I enjoyed it. So I will be looking forward to this!
EDIT: Nice tileset as well.

Thanks everybody! Yeah, it is inspired by Mad Science since I love that mappack, but trust me, it will be quite different from it!

Yeah, I'm quite a fan of the madness you've created =P

I myself can't wait to actually release it, currently at World 4-1 (I believe?)
I'm hoping to make it at least 6 worlds, maybe 8, I dunno =/

Hopefully I won't, although I've kinda ran into some sort of creative block right now D=
School has just started for me, so I'll have to see when I can fit time for TL in =P

Sorry for leaving you guys hanging, but due to stupidity in map making, the ENTIRE map has become corrupt somehow. I've got NO idea how this happened and am desperately trying to fix it. In the meanwhile, chapters!
Read them at your own will!

Chapter 1 - Waking Up
Chapter 2 - Escape
Chapter 3 - Continue Testing
Chapter 4 - Hatred
Chapter 5 - The other voice
Chapter 6 - Sabotage
Chapter 7 - Confrontation
Chapter 8 - The voice returns

I'm still working on it. Well, not much these days, since school has been in the way and stuff. Also, I've been working on a different, surprise mappack...

Believe me, the map looks soooooo sexier now.

Triple post, but I am too excited to notice it. I just finished up a playable demo version of the map, containing World/Chapter 1 (call it as you wish).

This looks like a nice mappack from the pictures. Playing it now for the first time after it finishes downloading.

Quick update! I've took some time to create a blog, where I'll try showing some Subject 128 progress every few days. Here's a little blogpost about my progress so far!

Wow! That was pretty good!
Will there be an eighth world? Because the seven worlds were amazing!

I really enjoyed this mappack; the plot was basic, the tests were not frustrating and it was worth my time. However, I thought that you kind of rushed the ending, so I would look forward to an eighth world like Hans.

Thanks! I agree, the ending was rushed as I wanted to release it in time for Christmas. I'm currently reworking the ending, and I might add an eighth world :D

Great news everybody! I have started work on World 8, which will, well, "introduce" a new, vital character to the Toadstool Laboratories universe! I've been fixing up many other levels, but I still need to know if there are any areas in the map which could be fixed! Thanks in advance!
