Well, we have a Tileset and Background Respositorium, so why not a Music one? I thought this would be a good way to put out music for people who don't want to add their own.
I'll start by adding this.
Pokemon: Gold/Silver - New Bark Town Loop: Yes Download
Preview
When adding a song, just add the title, if it loops, and the download.
Also add a preview if you can find/get one. Just be sure to put it in a spoiler.
And please upload in .ogg format if possible. It reduces the size, and still sounds pretty darn good.
And yes, I did get inspired by this because of HugoBDesigner. And no, I wont be updating the main post, just like all the other respositoriums.

Omg, What has He Done? length: 0:51 loop: yes Download
Bombs for Throwing at You length: 1:22 loop: yes Download

Which has been proven wrong multiple times.
Also if I can put some input in the thread here, I don't find a music repositorium as useful as the tileset/background repositorium as those threads requires someone to create what's being reposited, while this thread is just linking download links for songs that can be found easily by doing a google search, if it's an mp3 problem there's websites out there designed to convert mp3s into OGG files.

You also had a couple songs from the first portal. Is it possible that we could have download links to those?

Actually, I only used two songs: 4000 Degrees Kelvin for the level right after the first test chambers, and Taste of Blood for the old destroyed test chambers. In fact, if you own Portal, you can easily find the songs in the game files, I hardly edited 'em - I cut 4DK because the level is very short, so it loops after 24 secs; and I didn't edit ToB at all, but if you really want to have them, here they are:

Well, renhoek, if people use it only to upload pieces of music others can easily download by themselves, there's really no need for this. But I think it's very useful if you use it to provide music you composed or at least edited yourself. For example, all of the songs I uploaded (except Taste of Blood, but that one was requested) were edited so they loop well. You can't download them on youtube the way they are here.
can you make a song from music levels from rayman legends?????

Protip for those who don't know; you can make the tracks play a unique version for time running out by putting "-fast" right after the name.

What was the point of posting these if you don't have them for download?

Those are just youtube videos. You'd have to use a tool in order to get audio files from them. Also, the half-hour ones are pointless, the loop could just be shortened and it would save a lot of space.
Speaking of which, I have a ton of videogame soundtracks that I could easily make loops for if anyone wants. You can just ask. I've got too many to count so I doubt I'll get to listing them any time soon. Cropping out the endings of the looping ones is easy as long as I have the soundtrack.

IMO I didn't like it in SMBC when they used entirely different songs for when you're low on time rather than just taking a few minutes in Audacity to increase the tempo of the song to make it faster.
With that said, I'm going to contribute something of my own. https://www.dropbox.com/s/bu97t0kved601 ... rdings.zip
This is very much the same thing as Mario Hack Series Recordings, 'cept it's a compilation of music tracks from hacks of the first two Sonic games on Genesis.
In total; 56 tracks, all loop once before restarting.
EDIT: Just realized I already posted this before. Darnit. >_> Well this is an updated version with a few extra songs.

Except they aren't using .mp3s or anything, they're using the actual game system's audio, like NSFs. So they can't actually do that.
Besides, for this it could be a different track, the same track sped up, the same track with beeping, whatever suits your fancy really.

great i needed this, can someone help me make an 8bit version of these three songs, Champions road from 3d world. (i know its gusty garden but i prefer this remix).
the second is that first town from kid icarus uprising. the third, also from that game is chapter 15 aurum island. dont get it confused with chapter 15 mysterious invaders. just incase il link it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RH_adANFSl8 this is extended so you may wanna cut it down a bit.
