SMBC 3.0 came out yesterday!
http://www.explodingrabbit.com/games/su ... -crossover
Basically, it's SMB but you can play as characters from other NES games. 3.0 added easy and hard map difficulties for both SMB and the lesser known SMB Special which was also added in that version. You probably guessed by the title of this thread that I want to port these easy/hard maps to Mari0.

So this'd serve just to port the Easy and Hard versions of SMB and SMBS.
Don't really see any significance.

Ah, okay. So we're just going to port SMB1's Easy and Hard levels? Maybe someone on the Exploding Rabbit forums could help out in mapping, but that's just me.Goomba98 wrote:He didn't say he wanted to port SMBS.Turret Opera wrote:You probably guessed by the title of this thread that I want to port these easy/hard maps to Mari0.
I could try porting the SMBS level set's ultimate secret room that was added.
EDIT: Here's the level data for the secret room described above Place anywhere you desire.

Ultimate secret room?

You know how in Special's 4-2 that warp pipe beyond the underground's main exit led to a pipe that was broken in both the original PC88 and X1 variants. In the Mari0 recreation, it led to the secret area beyond the flagpole (as with how Mari0 works, you can't jump over it), but in SMBC, it instead deposits you into a secret room.Turret Opera wrote:Ultimate secret room?

Yep. The Exploding Rabbit fully powers up your character and stock him/her with full weapons and ammo.
