(Dang it, it's hard to come up with a name that hasn't been used yet.)
Yeah! It's finally done, after 1 whole month I finished my biggest project (yet ;) ).

IT HAS...
-32 Levels (unlike many other maps..)
-8 diffrent themed worlds (7 seen in the logo)
---1st level in a world is the basic level
---2nd level in a world introduces something new
---3rd level in a world is a speedrun level, so you have less time than usual
---4th level in a world is the bowser fight
-Only uses custom tiles
-Has a mod (Optional)
---Nothing special, just graphic changes, but trust me it looks really good.
-Custom Backgrounds (not super detailed but pretty)

Thank you so much!
Fun Fact: I never even meant to make this mappack, I was making a tileset for Tileset Respositorium but I liked it so much and then I made this.

Edit: Added Mod instructions because the mod wasn't getting many downloads.

The mod wasn't getting many downloads because it was released today. Be patient, SYS members aren't only in your time zone.

If you changed Mario's skin to match the rest of the modded entities, the mod may get more hits.
Either way, it looks nice.

Actually, I have them here:

I finished the small mario sprite for you:

If i finished the big mario sprite, should it be hatless?

Yes it should be hatless, again, I had problems with the hat and thought about disabling the feature, then I couldn't do that so I just left it as is.
Also, the small mario facing down sprites aren't used

Colors work weird,
You see how there are numbered player sprites that are in white?
It is the white that is shaded.
When you use colors, then the colors are shaded.

EDIT: Your mod looks nice. I'll fix it for you by tomorrow

Unused Content
Image
Now that some time has past, I can reveal some unused content.

At the top you can see some Bowser heads, the old one is the head inside the blocks. I got lazy because It took me one hour to make it.
There're also unused castle blocks that look too much like bricks!
Desert sand used to be darker beach sand then I made it yellow.
Small clouds.
I did use that glove but only on two levels.
That tree and white block where supposed to be for the sky world.
And different colored flagpole circles.

Amazing! I really like the cartoony tileset.

Also, I have a few suggestions.

1. Add a custom background.

Here are the patterns for some of the backgrounds:

Grassy Level: Hilla and pipes.

Underground levels in W1-2 to 4-1: Wall of underground brick coloured rock with a few holes.

Underground levels in the rest of the mappack: Pillar-like UG block coloured rock pillars. Stone wall behind.

Underwater levels: Coral and darker underwater blocks with a few coins. Don't forget the water surface.

2. Make the levels more challenging. I whizzed through the levels without even losing a P-Up.(P-Up is a shorter way of saying Power-Up)

3. Add bits where the portal gun comes in very handy, like castle levels with lava pits that are impossible to traverse without the portal gun.

I think I have enough custom backgrounds.

The levels aren't supposed to be hard, just fun :)

I'm not a fan of the portal gun. I play mari0 because it has a level editor.

Since SE (sorta) came out, I can show you a screenshot of mario's worlds chaos
Image
Everything looks nice, but wait until bowser causes chaos.
I'll try to convert the first mario's worlds to SE and hope it doesn't end catastrophically.
It'll have a LOT of destruction.
see ya

I like what I see but you might want to change the foreground/background colours to either a darker shade or lighter shade as it blends in with the scenery to much.

I like it. The levels arent particularly hard, but I'm loving the atmosphere and it feels very personal since you used backgrounds you made, correct?

It just has a good feel to it which I love. (Only played worlds 1-1 to 4-3 so far)

The Goomba in that last screen looks as if it's part of the tree.

I'll try it later, since my SE mappack folder is lacking.

The game crashes at 6-2...
I think there's probably a maze there.
You could convert it to the new SE version to fix this if you wanted.

EDIT: I think you just forgot to convert it into SE...

I played it a bit and realized the converter f lips  up the mappack.
Every level should work now in the beta 9 version.

You may want to fix 6-2_1...
EDIT: Also the coins in 6-2.
EDIT 2: Also is the propultion gel supposed to be visible?
EDIT 3: There's some empty ? blocks and random logic gates in 6-3.
EDIT 4: There's no enemies in 6-4...
EDIT 5: Or 6-2 or 6-3 now that I think about it...
EDIT 6: Pretty much any level past 6-1 doesn't have enemies...
EDIT 7: Wait there's a red koopa in 7-2...
EDIT 8: I don't think the conversion worked correctly.

I've tested all the versions so I know they work. You are doing something wrong.
What version of Mari0 SE are you using?
If you're using Mari0 SE beta 9 then use the beta 9 version of this mappack, otherwise use the beta 8 and older version.

The mappack should go into ...LOVE/mari0/mappacks

That's where I have it, but I don't have it in the modded file.
