Run for your life against the clock through 6 worlds!
Description
This mappack is (loosely?) based off the game LEGO Racers.
Mostly because every level in said game has a completely different theme. I liked the idea of make a bunch of levels that had a different theme, allowing much more creativity than a normal mappack. This also means there will be a lot of custom tiles, too. I've been using the video below to make the levels.

Wow, this looks really good! Did you make the tiles yourself?

No, I stole barrowed them from a number of sources which I forgot to list when I started, but I did edit some of them. Same with backgrounds.

Well anyways, it still looks really good. :)
EDIT: Just played it. It's great! I'll really like the use of the Windows 98 desktop background tiles. :)

What? Unless you're referring to Rocket Racer Run (which I haven't even made yet) I have no Idea what you're talking about.

In level 1-3, the floor tiles are from Windows 98.

all of the tiles in 1-3 are from Metroid with higher contrast/blue/red/whatever or SMAS SMB3. Unless I'm an idiot.

Wow. My mind has just been blown.
And I actually double checked, and they are from Metroid. They do look very similar, though.
Why have I been so dumb today?

I honestly thought this was a pretty awful mappack.
LEGO in the name, mappack has nothing to do with lego.
Backgrounds are violently inconsistant.
I had no idea which blocks were solid a lot of the time.
The time challenges were all pretty easy.

Based off of, not copying.

They aren't supposed to be difficult.

What exactly do you mean by that?
(I haven't gotten a chance to play the mappack.)

It's obvious camel has never played lego racers before. I have, and I for one got a nice kick out of it. Good work.

I finally played the level and had no trouble knowing which blocks I could touch except in the pyramid stage and the castles.
The backgrounds were perfectly fine, and it was overall a great mappack. One problem (which isn't Turret's fault) is that the star music plays over the background music, which ruins the fun mood.
Also, I enjoyed playing the map with Kexai's Twisted edition shader after I beat it normally.
Why didn't you use my tiles?

I'll replace all stars with 1-ups for the next update.

So, are you going to do the reversed levels? Because I don't see why they would matter, but still.

I want to make the reversed levels just flipped, but IDK if that's possible without doing everything all over from scratch. I'll probably just add some enemies or something and reduce the timer.
EDIT:
I'm not sure when you can expect the next update because the next level I need to pull off is
Knightmare-athon. (No shortcuts for you!)
If you'd like to help by finding some tiles for me; Go right ahead, I'll have a spot waiting in the credits!

Nice Mappack!
I think it should have a more lego-ish tileset. I know the only things in the real game are the cars and minifigures but it's lego so why the hell not?
Also, why are the ground tiles in W1-2 Minecraft dirt blocks?
Rating: 9/10 Emeralds.

This is a really good mappack! I Especially like the textures and backgrounds you used. The only problem....the game is too short, i beat it in 10 minutes.
