Tribute v1.0 (Now compatible with SE!)
Tribute is a one-level mappack. It has no custom tileset, no background, no mod functionality, and no gimmicks. Use of the portal gun is not required - in fact, there are no portal elements at all. There is also no time limit.
This may seem small and/or boring, but this one level is over 1000 blocks long and contains five sublevels. It takes its cues from Super Mario Bros. and SMB: Lost Levels, and only those two games, ramping in difficulty from 1-1 of SMB to about 7-2 of Lost Levels. Through all of this one level, you get five lives, and there are at least eight more somewhere in the level if it gets too difficult.
Each sublevel is a branching path through either an underground or underwater area to bypass a certain portion of the overworld. This allows for some freedom in how you traverse the level.
This is the only version of the mappack I will release.
Special credit goes to Alesan for making a working Flying Koopa for the SE version.

I was going to do this before, but never finished because I got stuck and had no idea what to do next.
Will definitely try this out.
Why is it called tribute?

I've converted this mappack to SE as a test of the mappack converter. Grab it in the first post.
Let's just say this was kind of frustrating. Mazes broke the level saving process, the Lakitu doesn't stop at the endpoint defined for him, and there's no beetlehalf in SE at all, which broke the level when it tried to load! Luckily I was able to iron most of that out, except for the Lakitu. You'll just have to deal with him. But now that I have most of the process figured out, I should be able to convert some of my other mappacks...
