A lot of empty space with that first tileset, but the second one I'm quite fond of. Any plans on continuing it?

I could maybe hack that tileset into a clean SMB1 ROM and see how it turns out.

I think i will continue it, but i'm a bit busy for now.
And that empty space is because it's not complete yet.

EDIT: Also, if someone can make a better three top tile, please do it.

Hmm. Yeah, I should probably post this here. :3

So I've got this little collection of SMB1 and related stuff that I've been collecting and adding to since...before Mari0's time, actually. It's gotten somewhat larger since I've gone on my SMB1/Mari0 kick lately, so I thought I'd toss it in this thread and let everyone grab whatever they wanted from it. Ain't that nifty? :D

BIG IMAGE WARNING when you click that spoiler button, this thing's nowhere near wide enough to stretch your page horizontally, but it is over 2000 pixels tall.

I've included the NES palette I used at the top left corner. Some 3-color sprite and background palettes for various tiles are also included at the top.

This is in no way complete, of course--I'm just posting it here 'cause why not? :p

Maybe make the shooty part of the cannon thicker.
Like, the line looks like this now:

Also, some canon direction things are missing;
Short on the right, long on the left.
Vice versa.

Some recommendations that are unnecessary but cool:
All of them upside down.
Canons that can connect to the regular bullet bill canons on top.
Same for the bottom.

I only changed the colors because it's complicated (at least to me) giving the 3d effect to a simple cloud (3 blocks width) without waste the other cloud (4, 5 ,6 block),
the same thing with the mountain.

On the right side of photobucket where it says "Links to share this photo" copy the link labeled "Direct". Then paste it in between the Img thing.

Now that i'm done with Mario's Worlds I can get back to making tilesets!

Tileset for the people who use the smb tileset and ACTUALLY KNOW THAT THE TILES IN 1-3 (SMB) ARE TREES NOT GRASS.

Still a work-in-progress, don't judge me yet. Eventually I'd like to get them to sort of shoot fire at you, moments before crushing you. That's what I'm aiming for. But you know, small steps.
This is for a Space-Themed mappack. You're free to use if you give me credits...

Small update on my Space-Themed tileset:

Added "Gravity Field" tiles and more transparency to glass tiles...

EDIT: Fixed the "Gravity Field" transparent thing, because I completely forgot that my mappack's background is space (and that I cover it with those 4 tiles):

EDIT 2: Fixed some tiles with wrong dimensions and fixed those "Gravity Field" to have 4 blocks instead of 8 and to have collision in some of them:

This could go on forever, but I'm going to risk it anyways. If it was grass, why isn't it used as the default ground?

Curious how one of the wiki you got those screenshots from has a link to mariowiki, which in the page for World 1 it actually says 1-3 is "The first treetop course in the game", but on the specific 1-3 page it says "It involves maneuvering on large mushrooms"...
Im not saying you're wrong saying those are treetops, and neither that i think it's grass or anything else(i actually dont care what those are), what im trying to say is that wikis are not a reliable source for proofs, it's not hard to find contraddictions in them as anyone can edit them...i could go there and edit all the pages relative to treetops levels and write that those are giant wood tables with green tableclothes on top, that doesnt mean they are actually giant wood tables with green tableclothes on top.
