Help with custom MLP:FIM tiles

Can anyone help me make tiles of this:
- Mane 6, Celestia and Luna.
- Backgrounds.
- Floor tiles, clouds, anything else that comes to mind.
- Random background ponies.
- Nightmare Moon.
- Elements of Harmony.

While people are making the tiles, I will be making the mappack.

MLP is like cel shaded or cartoon-ish, so I tried to capture that style. I also can edit those Pony sprites and make it look like the MLP show, which doesnt have black border lines and w/ softer colors.

Anyway, there's this thing called Desktop Ponies, which is a program that basically makes a bunch of little 8-bit ponies walk around on your screen. It has pretty much every pony imaginable, and the image files are all there for use. So you can either download it and get the ponies yourself, or I can just send them to you.

Can you upload an example of your World 1-1 level? I'd like to see how you would design a level, and It doesnt matter if you use the default tileset. I'll focus on backgrounds and other floor tiles.

Also, how can you make mario move by it's own? Example: 1-2 start

on second thougth, i guess i shouldnt have said that...doing these versions of mane 6 in pixel art for mari0 would be impossible, at least for me...maybe someone else has some awesome pixel art skills for this.

You know they have to be broken up into 16 x 16 tiles, right? They can't be animated, either.

I know they can't be. When I put those gifs in Paint.NET, they become PNG. And the 16 x 16 tiles thing is my problem.

Ok, I'm going to explain almost everything that's going to happen: In the end of each castle, there is going to be one of the mane 6 and luna captured with toad, and this is where the tough part will come. I have to either make bowser look like Nightmare Moon, which will turn out as a epic fail, or somehow make it so instead of bowser, it's Nightmare Moon attacking with black fire. And I also need to find random enemies to put in each castle. Also, when I get my own laptop/computer, I'm going to the hat industry, because I like working with sprites.

It may have seemed like a great idea in the beginning, but I get the feeling it was mainly an impulse reaction to everything that is pwny. If you'd like to continue the project, I'd have no problem with it.
