I played it a lot, I can assure you, but I never did it from the first to the very last level in one sitting. Only world by world.

Once again, sorry for the game not being perfect guys.

I'd just like to say that you're very attractive and it's making it hard to focus on the actual gameplay.

That's what you're supposed to do. Otherwise you won't know how your game REALLY feels.

When you play a new game, you complete everything in one sitting ? Personnaly I don't, because I don't have time.

There's a suspend feature in the game, which I use. Not actually in one sitting, but close enough.

You are right, I should've done the whole game in one sitting. I will for Super 0'Brothers.

I guess this is a joke or else my face will turn red.

Playing your game/maps from start to end, especially in one sitting, can really help determine the overall fun factor your mappack has. I planned to do that with A0zora's original version, and will with the revamp.

That's because it look good, so he used that effect everywhere.
If you have an idea of parallax background that's as "WOW" as water, then go ahead, and suggest him.

How about you stop being a cock and let Baf do whatever he wants.
His backgrounds all looked sexy no-one cares if he "used water in every background" (which he didn't, you clearly haven't actually played past the first world) if it makes the pack look nicer.

This is nice, but I'm here to know what people think of my game, even if it's not nice. Everything is important, and I read every critics. I know I can't make a perfect game that everyone would enjoy, but I do my best.
Turret Opera wrote:Baf, please don't make every single level in Super 0'Brothers have water in the background like you did in 0'Brothers.
There is water because it looks nice indeed, and swapping colors is a very good way to make levels looks easily differents. Look at Donkey Kong Country 2 on SNES, the same water background becomes ice, lava, swamp and toxic liquids.

Here is a new music track, the "Athletic" one. It's based on the original 0'Brothers main theme, but more punchy, so it makes you want to jump a lot.

And here a time-lapse of a new entity, the big jellyfish.

This mappacks takes forever to make but I never left since I began.
Hans1998 wrote:What program do you use to make GIFs? And music?
I used Fruity Loops for the musics and Photoshop for the graphics (and Fraps for recording).
Qcode wrote:it looks like a combination of the classic pixel art from the first game with the design of the newer games.
The goal is to make it looks like a SNES game, the audio is only done with "Super Mario World" and "Yoshi's Island" soundfonts (maybe some Final Fantasy VI ones too).

Looking better every time I see an update.
And I think you nailed the music this time around as I felt the originals music selection felt a bit sad. It wasn't bad it was awesome but the music had this downer sort of vibe, now when I listen to the new music it fits perfectly for a mario game.

Yeah, 0'Brothers musics was a bit sad. It's easier for me to do sad music, I don't really understand why, I'm not that sad.
But I need a lot of tries before a "happy but not too silly song" appears.
BobTheLawyer wrote:Do you have a time you estimate this to be done by (month or even season)?
No, this isn't possible, it could be this years or the next one. There are so many new features in SE, and I don't mastering everything yet.
The public beta is so great, especially for the height and width menu, much more ergonomic than the old beta I used before. Thank you Maurice, as always.

Ok, I'm too confused right now. At first i thought that you were part of Exploding Rabbit, but for some reason i started to doubt it. Anyways, you are the best and i want to reach your spriting and "musicing" abilities.
Also, about Super Action Squad, good luck with that. *cough* Update *cough"

I were part of the team, but there was many changes since the beginning of the project. I'm not sure if it's because I worked slowly, or because I'm too far away, but Jay decided to removed me from the team. Maybe I'll still be credited for some stuff I made, as a special thanks.

For example, in this video (at 3:36) you can see my background (the clouds) and I also did some frames for the character's sprites. I'm a bit sad he didn't credited me for this video, but I'm not mad at all. It was an exciting project though.

I wish good luck to Jay and the team, because this game developpement is tough.

If you're talking about Super 0'Brothers, it's quite blatantly built from SE.
If you're talking about 0'Brothers, it's doubtful but you can probably convert it yourself.
