I made a Mari0 mappack.
It's called Rachel's Mappack.
Level design is a hybrid of Mario and Portal elements.
It's eight worlds, with three levels per world. (24 levels total)
Please let me know if something seems too easy or too hard for the level you're on. Screenshots helpful.

Just finished what you had so far. Really well done. Especially liked 1-2, with the "mini-puzzles" as I will call them. And it's got the perfect World 1 difficulty. NIcely done so far, can't wait to see more from this pack.

Also, I like water levels :<

Thanks for letting me know it was a nice difficulty. I'm trying to keep things well balanced.
And I might add a water level or two, but not until world 3 or 4.

That was great. I really need to see more of this. My one request is that you hurry up (without sacrificing the quality, of course) so I can play more!

I'll try to get another world up for download soon, I'm halfway done with 2-1 as I'm typing this.

If you download it, please let me know what you think. I can't know if I'm doing a good job unless you tell me.

Downloaded again, played worlds 3-5. I am very impressed :D

Good side: Great levels, puzzles are good, and stages look nice. I especially love World 5's background.
Bad side: World 4-1. Lakitu+Hammer Bros+Death Lasers=This guy raging. Also some levels were kind of TOO short. But I can overlook that bit.

Overall, great work up to this point. Keep it up :D
(And you added a water level! Yay!)

All of the worlds have specific themes if you haven't noticed.
World 4's was the enemy theme. Though I suppose I went a little overboard. I'll remove a hammer bro and that red laser in world 4-1. Also would you please tell which levels you thought were short?

From my horrible memory, I think 3-1 and 3-2 were rather short, along with one of the levels in World 5. However they were still good, so I say you shouldn't bother making those levels longer if you don't want to. It's just my opinion, others might think they're the perfect length.

Either way, keep up the great work on this mappack :D

Great mappack... only problem is the pipe at the end of the first part of 8-3 doesn't work, keeping me from completing the level

Excellent mappack! I loved the custom tiles in world 5 and in 8, very creative! Excellent level design, especially in world 8

It does work, you just have to stand on the furthest left part of the top of the pipe because I accidentally put the sublevel-go-to entity in the wrong place. I'll fix it in v 1.1, along with a few other bugs.
Also does anyone know how to submit a mappack for DLC?

EDIT: Updated the OP with v 1.1

Played and finished the whole mappack. As I said before, very good mappack. Still love World 5 the most. And I liked the feel of world 8, although I sucked at it. Made me rage so much.
Great mappack nonetheless, I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

As for the DLC thing, all I know is you contact Maurice about it. Wish I could help more on that front, but I have no idea. Sorry.

Thank you for the kind words about my mappack. I remember there being somewhere a thread in which someone mentioned that there was a specific e-mail address to send DLC submissions to but I can't find the thread.

Yeah I was having trouble with this to
someone said
"don't you mean mappcak@stabyourself.net" (not actual link)
but it was just an auto linky thing and I had been sending them out to no one @ anylpace dot net
if you find out where please tell me.

hmmmm, is it just me or the download doesn't really correspond to the description ? I made this screenshot thing with the download, and your mappack is totally not finished, like a third of the levels need ground. maybe it was just missing the colored tileset ? I dunno but still here you go you can modify this afterwards if you want.

Trosh, I'm almost positive I included the tiles.png with the download.
Are you using a modded mari0.love?

I can't seem to download this mappack. When I click the link I'm taken to a blank page. Refreshing it again gives me a blank page. Can anyone confirm the link or provide an alternative mirror?

Must have been a problem with my browser. Tried it from a different browser on the same machine and it downloaded no problem. Sorry, my mistake.

I like this mappack. It's a bit challenging, but not overly so. Though I did get stuck on world... I think it was 2-2, with the big hole to get over. Very tricky. :)

Well thank you, newguy. I plan on working on a new mappack when Mari0 SE comes out. I'd work on it now, but Maurice said that mappacks created now probably won't be compatible.
