My "Lambda mappack maker?" \:{
You're
not supposed to plaster the tileset into your mappack unedited and expect it to be instantly usable. you're supposed to create a template from versions 1 and 2, change the colors (or add on to the existing tileset) with an advanced image editor such as Photoshop, and then you compile them all together, save them as tiles.png, and boom. you're done.
To save you probobly hours of work, I have created a template. The left (white) tiles represents
portable tiles, while the right (grey)tiles uses
non-portable tiles.
fixed a small error with brick blocks and used blocks.
I already have the width done for you, so if you need more than five colors, enlarge the image's height, and remember to copy the correct color whenever or not you want said color to be portable or not (P.S. don't forget to copy the tile property pixels as well!).
While I stuck with the NES' colors (at least, what is shown in NEStopia), I'm giving you all freedom to use whichever colors in the RGB/CMYK palettes you please. Try as many as you like and see what you come up with.
