This is my first attempt at creating a game of my own (sorta? I'm making it myself, it's based off another game though). It's going good so far, when making this topic, I've worked three days on it. It's not anywhere near done, but I think it's at the point where people can look at it/try it out
looking forward to its completion
i like the music, did you make it?

No, it's the original music from the game
Here's a video of the original game

More additions and fixes. These include the ability to get the fruit from the store (other items soon), grabbing items (can only grab most recent remaining fruit, fix soon), better animation timing, stats work, you can feed the chao, the chao is there (only moves left and right so far), and some other things
On the path to completion i see. I can't wait for er... i can wait for more, but awesome job anyway!

I've got another version done, but I want to finish the water collision before I release another one. So far I've changed the store to open with CTRL, fixed naming the Chao, you can pick up any fruit you buy not just the most recent, the Chao sleeps sometimes, it says things sometimes (that was a pain to do, the original game says over 100 things and I had to play the original to get every single one), feeding him gives the correct amount of points, and the duck is in the pond moving (if you buy it or not, and it can't be picked up yet)

Tiny is describing the garden, since the once in Sonic Adventure 1/2 hold 8 Chao at a time

Cleaned some stuff up, made a complete Chao sprite sheet instead of having a separate image per animation, and reworking animations and how they work (timing will be as close as I can to the original now, and not random guess and check if they look similar). Hope to have an update up soon
EDIT: Here's a download to the newest version. Some of the things look like they went backwards since last time because I redid how the Chao functions, but this way is more likely to not mess up later on as I add things, and there is so new things to it: http://www.mediafire.com/download/2hbh2 ... v0.06.love

In the last four days I completely restarted this game from scratch. While it looks like there's less content than before (which there is), it's running a lot better and it's easier to work with, along with new and more complete stuff from before. Basically everything non Chao related is complete now. There are some issues I need to fix, though
YouTube's webcam recorder sucks, it's not the game
Slightly earlier version

Nice work man! do you think you can make it into an EXE game? I dont have the version of LOVE for it...
just in case you dont know how:
1. Open up Command Prompt
2. change the directory to where your LOVE.exe program is with the .love game (so your going to have to put the .love file in there)
