I'm shocked that not even you saw the irony in this sentence.Shank wrote:I don't give a shit about people who don't read or care for my posts.
Idiot Puzzles. A puzzle game
No one gives a damn if you added the hat back in. Nobody. If they gave a damn they would've downloaded the source and added it back in too. But obviously no one has. That's why the fuck not.Shank wrote:I like the hat and I don't give a shit about people who don't read or care for my posts. It's not against the rules to inform the forum about the sexy chicken hat and that I added it in so why the fuck not?
And if you're going to be a little shit about it, you can just stay the fuck out of my thread.
Just got this trying to download the source:

Was this on the level select?Camewel wrote:Download the Windows version and rename it to .love for a cheap and easy source download.
EDIT: just got this when exiting the level with the long conveyor belt you push 2 cubes onto.
Had you already played past the level with the long conveyor belt?
I think I'll just stay 'ere to annoy you. C:

I remember when I used to play that as a kid. The game was really annoying.Sašo wrote:The level screenshots sort of remind me of Dangerous Dave
Mr.Q.Marx?'s recreated game level confirmed for DLC Pack.
I'm just kidding, DLC's not planned at the moment and probably won't be for a long time if at all.

I found an error
"Error: States/game.lua:272: attempt to concatenate field 'numberinset' <a nil value>
stack traceback:
States/game.lua:272: in function 'game_update'
main.lua:143: in function 'update'
[string "boot.lua"]:407: in function <[string "boot.lua"]:373>
[C]: in function 'xpcall'"
i bet it's supposed to be 'numberinsert'
just putting it out there
\(^_^)/

It'd be great to provide the screenshot of the error and what was done in-game that led to that happening. Thanks.

I had fun making this. Hope you enjoy it! :D
I'm so pro at audio merging. :P

Your music choice for that is terrible, and you could've gathered footage from the more well lit rooms.
You are getting better at trailers though.

I got the idea for the music like this. "The Power of LÖVE".
I just thought it'd be a good music choice because of that. I guess not. :P
Why would you think that? It doesn't really fit the game at all.
Anyway what idiot said.

That would be better for a trailer for Löve itself.Mari0Maker wrote:Well, thanks! :)idiot9.0 wrote:Your music choice for that is terrible, and you could've gathered footage from the more well lit rooms.

I decided to make the video unlisted. Partly because it isn't that good now that I realize it (and many others do), and that people that aren't on Stabyourself.net or don't know what LÖVE is won't get it.

I noticed some filenames for hats had Mrq in them... did you intend to have more usable characters other than Idiot and Qcode?

Some of them did make it but yeah, at some points I was just doing it so people didn't think idiot's art had got a bit cack.
This is a pretty huge bump, but I would like to tell the forum that Idiot: Puzzles is now included on Vapor!
Vapor is a love distribution client, it's a great way to find love games other than following the forum. Plus all games added to Vapor are completed and playable, so there's no need to sort through all the broken demos.
You can download stable Vapor releases here: https://github.com/josefnpat/vapor/releases
I've also compiled the most recent (as of right now) Vapor unstable release which includes a better redesign of how the games are layed out. You can find it here:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/80409786/Vapor.love
(That link won't be updated, if you want to download future unstable's you will have to use the build.sh file at the GitHub source.)
