Because that's where all of my mappacks are.

Or maybe you can get off your lazy ass and just copy the mappacks over to the new folder. Moving folders isn't exactly rocket science.

Yes, but isn't the point of the program to bring the games together? Not exactly helping.

It's bringing them together into one universal love file, not leeching off of other file locations. Not everyone has played the games before so they won't have the file locations. And some people actually like having all the required files in one location. If you can't get your lazy ass up to move some freaking files around for later ease of access then this program's not for you.

Alright, here it goes.
Turtle's Launcher Review (Not trying the games) (OSX):
I downloaded it and took a look. The icon (on the task bar) looked a little out of place, maybe invert the colours? I liked the Garry's Mod menu sounds, made me feel like I had been using the launcher for a while. Scrolling using a mouse doesn't work, randomly takes you into a game menu. The music was very nice! Especially the Mari0 launcher music. I sung with it for a while. Maybe you add a "more games" tab for other loves games like STRATEGY! Oh I love that game.

Scrolling does that because it's part of the mousepressed() method. I just loop through them all 'in pairs' to call that. It happens. You can technically launch any LOVE2D game from the folders, it was just for neatness and organisation. The favicon on the task bar is just weird, but I tried my best to get a good one to represent Stabyourself.

Just curious, has the launcher by Turtle worked for anyone?

I opened Mari0, went to the normal mappack (Super Mario Bros.), opened the loader again, and it worked.

For me, it work, except that there is nothing in the mod list, not even an "Original game" button. I didn't bothered to add a mod, though.

Exact same thing happened to me when I touched the scroll wheel.

When your cursor is hovered over a game, and you move the scroll wheel, it selects the game you were hovering over.
Also, it might of crashed when Maurice and you used it, because it was your first time using it, and it had to create the game folders.

I might just finish up the game/mod loader I developed specifically for my group (the ones that made Turtle: Puzzles). It's flawless and works beautifully this time. The one thing it doesn't come with is SyS games, but I can manage to add those (rather than my group's games) if you wish.

Turtle's version has mod support. He explains how to use it in this thread.
Personally, it has never worked for me. I run WinXP.

Soooo... Turtle's looked really cool, but i'm having some issues.
Nothing is showing up!
I had just loaded the program, clicked on mari0, but there isn't anything on the list!
Don't tell me to look somewhere else because the past posts are confusing!

I might revise my old launcher at some point. When? I have NO idea. Maybe just for the sake of Love 0.9.0 or something.

Thank you! I really need somewhere to put my mods, and a mod loader would be extra useful!
