Hello!

I'm new to the LÖVE community, so I wanted to bring a gift. LÖVELINESS is a Chrome extension that lets you play LÖVE games on the web!

Download LÖVELINESS
Examples + documentation
github project

I have a couple stabyourself.net examples on the examples page above (p.s. is it OK to host these? They're not changed, just unpacked to .love files).

Anyway, enjoy!

I think it's okay, the games are CC BY-NC-SA.

Doesn't work for me, just makes the tab not respond.

Which game? I have seen a bug where mari0 will stall on the loading screen. Usually, I can just reload the tab and it works -- sometimes I have to kill the tab though.

Also, I should mention that I'm tracking down a Chrome bug where the games don't work unless you turn on the "native client" flag. Otherwise it will pop up a grey box that says "Native Client is not allowed".

Did I mention this is alpha software? :P

It (when it eventually loads) works as a nice alternative for fullscreen Mari0, for my screen size, atleast

I tried installing this on Chrome, and it gave me a BSOD (Blue Screen of Doom).

Sorry. Have you ever heard someone say base word instead of root word? Or ballett instead of ballay? That's what it's like.

Would this work on Firefox?
And before I install this, I'd want to know what caused Turtley's BSOD before I install it. :P

Nope. It works only on Google Chrome. Also turtley probablt doesn't even know what a BSOD is (He said he had a fork bomb error and when really GLaDOS just shoot a bomb)
Also this extension is awesome !

Native Client (the technology this extension uses) only works on Chrome. Firefox's competing technology is called asm.js, which, combined with emscripten may be able to make this work. I don't have much experience with either technology, however.

When nyu looks like Image, the extension is enabled. LÖVE on, little nyu!

When nyu looks like Image, the extension is disabled. No LÖVEing for you. Your LÖVE will be downloaded instead!
Try clicking on the icon.

Are you trying to click on a link on my example page, or just randomly on the web? The examples page links all work, and a lot of web links I've tried work... but sometimes they don't :-/.

If you find one that doesn't work, could you add it to the github issues list? (or you could just link to it here so I can try it out.)

Asking here would probably get you no where.

But thankfully there is an entire forum for the discussion of LÖVE development.
