woah, this looks really neat. Glad to see work is going well.
However, knowing you did the shaders for mari0, which work on neither of my computers, and I never could open snayke (at least I couldn't open snayke 2, can't remember about the first version), will this be a problem with snayke 3 ? Also is it just a problem with my graphic card, or what ? thank you.
Also, do you not get a colour "fill" from the food you eat, like in th colour test video ? if so it's a shame, that looked good.

What video cards do your computers have? Snayke should automatically disable stuff the computer doesn't support but it hasn't been tested much.

It looks and sounds great, but it isn't original at all. Multiplayer snake has been done countless times, are you thinking in any other "twists" to add?
Maybe it's just because on Stabyourself I expect to see classic games with something weird going on in them, specially if the names are similar but no exactly the same. And even though that is different from the original snake, it has been done many times.
Although, I confess, it looks pretty addictive, I'd probably waste a few hours with it if I played with a couple friends.

Indeed, it's not really supposed to be original - in fact the old tron lightcycle arcade game is essentially a multiplayer snake variant. Snayke is more of a modern graphical interpretation of the classic than an attempt to innovate.

once again, I wish we could "like" posts. I'm impressed you actually found a way to make "portals" fit well. Digging the level editor, I'm expecting as many "mappacks" as for mari0 ;D

Remember that summer can be any time up to the autumn equinox. ;)

Apparently I didn't post this video here yet. I'll have a new one soon, too.

I like that you've taken Snake and properly reinvented it. I'm actually really looking forward to it, it's a whole new way to play snake.

Just did, and everyone else should too! That'd be incredible if this game got onto steam.

I liked it, but it said it has 0% of the necessary likes.... Is that true?

It has been at 1% for a while now (which is actually quite a few upvotes), although Valve changed the system a few days ago so it's not based on a set percent anymore.

In other news, you can now try a demo! http://snayke.net/demo.html
The full version will be released on Desura on September 28th. It will be discounted from a regular price of $4.99 for a few days at release.

The demo is amazing, I really like it. If I hadn't already given it an upvote, I would have by now.

I LOVE IT! But some advice:
Add at LEAST one more song (also, where can I download the soundtrack?
Also, The only way Player 2 wins multi player is is player one crashes and player 2 gets a dot. Player ONE wins as SOON as player s dies. also, When going heat to head straight forward, p1 always wins.

I disagree entirely.

Fairly sure this one is intentional as otherwise the game would crash with no winners.

I'm not sure why. Sure, It's great proffesor Layton style music, but it get's a LITTLE repetitive.

Or, It could be marked a tie.
