Because it's notcrap and if your not going to finish it why not have someone else who is willing to do it do it.
1) You'd have to first read through and understand my code which would be quite the task in itself. I design my code for efficiency, not readability, so that would take you quite a while.freakstorm101 wrote:Because it's notcrap and if your not going to finish it why not have someone else who is willing to do it do it.
2) Quite how do you decide who gets to continue making it? If two separate people both want to continue it individually, we could have 2 different versions of the same game which would be very silly indeed.
3) I stopped making it because I didn't see enough potential in it. It's a relatively generic 2D platformer that I didn't think was worth my time any more. Then letting someone else continue with it makes it seem like I'm saying my time is worth more than theirs.

Fine. Pity, this idea DID have alot of potential.
Hey look at this picture of a kitten.
Beta? Dunno what you're on about.

Wow. Pretty nice. Are there any levels to go along with it though?
Also, what moves, the start block, or the line in the middle?

You shouldn't be able to press space to flip, unless that's just a beta thing.
You're right, reading files called "README" is indeed a bad idea. Good call!BobTheLawyer wrote:Wow. Pretty nice. Are there any levels to go along with it though?
Space to flip was to test collisions at high speeds with the wrong sides of slopes and the like. It was never intended to be in the final thing.TheJonyMyster wrote:You shouldn't be able to press space to flip, unless that's just a beta thing.

Wow.
Well, it's called "README" for a reason.

Only a person named Jonathan could figure it out.Qcode wrote:I do agree with what you said. It's a cool concept but I can't see many ways this could expand. Then again, someone more creative than me probably could.
(Notable example: Braid)

with the first bit with the water, it looked cool. then you added a 2p in the snapshot and i thought "whoa, 1p has normal gravity and swims in other feild, and 2p does the same but inverted"
