Nice! It even breaks off pursuit once in a while, or at least doesn't always take the most direct route so it would not be impossible when there are multiple ghosts coming after you. keep it up.

Even though there is no goal, I still find this very entertaining to go around with the dot chasing me. very fun! and I like the uneven level design. you gonna keep that?

I was dragging the window around and when I do everything freezes. When I released it, this happened..
playing this makes me want to go get my atari 2600 back from wherever my mom put it (likely gave it away) and play the horrible version of pac-man that I had for it

Looks good. I can't get it to mess up.. I'm gonna leave it running for a couple of hours in the background to see if it actually does mess up. the first one had some trouble in this area but this one seems fine so far. one question on the ghosts though. What's going on with the circle around one and the line (laser?) from the other one?

Isn't this going to be a little bit too hard? Ir is that what you are aiming for?

Perhaps if they just did a bit of damage? multiple hits would make more sense to me if you keep the frequency of attacks this way. It would seem that this might be a bit too difficult if one hit kills you.

Ok it works now. I suggest you can add something to it to make it more distinctive. Also http://www.classicgaming.cc/classics/pacman/sounds.php for sounds. It is bare without them.
I would also suggest a better AI with a A* Path finding system.

Don't worry, this game will be plenty distinctive.

Edit: Also, the AI is meant to be similar to the original Pac-Man's AI. I like the artificial stupidity; exploiting the AI can be part of the strategy. Having perfect pathfinding I feel would be less interesting.
