I've played this game loads of times on my laptop and it had worked fine since I had it. It wasn't until a few weeks ago that I decided to run the game again and I just got a bombardment of glitching graphics. I tried removing everything and starting over but it remained glitchy. I have not installed any new hardware and to even further leave me vexed, while running the game on another user account on this machine, the game runs perfectly fine. So what can the problem be if my machine is clearly capable of running it correctly?

Your game is corrupt in some way. Re-download it.

File corruption would be the best call, especially if you're not running the same file on all accounts. Alternatively you can try clearing your data. Access your save folder (see viewtopic.php?f=8&t=246) and then remove the mari0 folder.

I've tried re-downloading and extracting the folder in a few locations as well as deleting the LOVE folder in my appdata. I did so once more just now and nothing changed. I even got curious and ran the download from the other user account's folder and it did the same. But I switched accounts once again and it ran just fine on there. Is there some other folder that's involved I am unaware of?

Are you running any other programs that might affect your computer's GPU? If you're switching accounts, and it works fine on the other account, then there might be something on startup that could be causing interference.
