No. In SMB1, Hammer Bros are always programed to stay in place, pacing back and forth between two tiles, and occasionally jumping. Unless if you stay idle for a certain amount of time, at which point they start chasing you I was observing hammer bros sometime before Mari0's original release to get ...

There is a lobby.lua and a onlinemenu.lua, but when you try to create a server or join as a client (After modding a bit to make that menu accessible obviously.) it crashes because it can't find server...
