From the error it's likely that either he forgot the put the .dlls in the same folder in the exe or that his system is incredibly outdated.

Did you extract all the .dlls in the same folder as the exe?

We most likely won't be actively publicising the game. Word of mouth worked fine when awareness started rising (Razer facebook post back in august) and it should work fine for the release.
