If you don't feel like modding, you can skip the animation by pressing any key after the game has loaded. That's kind of a half-solution.

Hate to burst your bubble but 90% of those tiles are just recolored NSMBWii tiles. That's only partially true, I just looked. Ploaj recently ripped the tiles from NSMB2 , so I took the liberty of putting ALL OF THEM into a tileset. Sounds like you're changing spawnoffsety. That's not the right one. It's just offsety.

Change offsetY so its sprite is lined up with the hitbox. I think -1 will work, but experiment with different values if it doesn't.
