When I think of "Virtual Reality" I think of the stuff they do in cartoons to show it off like the green wire framed objects. I saw an episode of King of the Hill a few days ago where Boomhauer is virtually mowing a lawn and it has the green wire frame sort of thing

Fire Bros. didn't come in until later games, which I don't think they had spinning fire in water in any later games either, I could be wrong

I do like the idea of that title screen, I did make one already, but it's sorta plain. Do you can if I use the idea for the title screen just change it alittle?

The scroll bars work perfectly, but they look wrong because since you can change the sizes of them, the image for it tiles, so you can't add ends to either side Anyways, 1-2 and 1-3 are 99% completed and I'll update the main post when they are finalized and uploaded Also, anyone know how I could add...

I think this might be worded badly or I completely misunderstood it, but are you saying make a new invisible platform entity so that you can put it over non-colideable blocks to work as platforms?Hans1998 wrote:you can make an invisible platform entity and put it in the "background tiles"

Sorry about the delay, but the mappack is uploaded, with slightly changed level design
I'd say I'll have 1-2 (and maybe 1-3) done by today. I got the moving scrollbar working, but the left and right ends of the scrollbar don't look right

I actually thought about that, I was thinking either the last levels, or all castle levels. I don't know about the ice gel, changing directions on it (especially while running) flings you super fast in the other direction And the invisible gel plays some song? (Probably intentional, that'd be hard to do by accident) All these new things are awesome though, and it's even better that you upd...

I actually started something with Sonic tilesets, I used Sonic Pocket Adventure (Mario and Sonic are almost the exact height in that game). variables.lua has gravity and speeds and points for killing enemies and all of that stuff in it. I don't know about the other question, but one of Turtle95's new Gels contains one that makes you jump lower, you could probably edit it for what you're trying to do

I think you should keep the tiles how they are, making them bigger would look exactly like Sonic 1, and Mario's size compared to Sonic in that was noticeably different

I did manage to find a skidding sound! Thank you again, but you did leave one thing out when having to add a custom sound, you need to add the sound to "soundlist"

This is really cool, and will be pretty fun to play when online multiplayer is possible for everyone! I might try getting some of the blocks that change by hitting the face blocks working with buttons and doors (or lasers) later on tonight, to some extent atleast

After some messing around, I figured out how to add a sound to Mario's sliding. I used the vine sound for when Mario is running and sliding to the right. I'm not sure how to add a custom sound, and if I do, make the game still work. Because me trying to add an extra frame to Mario's running screwed ...

I don't think you understand what I meant about sound effects, me adding a song to my mappack isn't going to magically add sound effects to skidding or jumping on the springs
