It’s baffling that we don’t have levels with ratchet scrolling. Like, we have autoscrollers, but no ratchet scrolling to emulate that SMB1 feel. It's in the game, just hidden. AE is compatible with 1.6 mappacks/assets and SE enemies so separating AE may send the message that only new AE content should be used.
Course that could just end up not being an issue at all.

Yeah swinging is not possible with custom enemies (not with all the other behaviors of the claws at least) but it would definitely be doable as an entity.

I can't think of anything. Make sure you're on the latest patch i guess.

Well the idea with the custom goombas wasn't exactly to sync them. More like only the bottom one actually walks, and the ones on top just are carried along. That doesn't seem to work though. That's what i meant by syncing them. With that method they still need to stay together and affect each other.

Well, a tall goomba-like enemy could work with stomps but it might not be as elegant with side hits like shells. I tried my solution from earlier, and I couldn't get the stacked goombas to move with the base goomba, they just slide off. Trying to add custom enemies to a PlatformCheckTable just cras...

Well for Question 2, you could have a basic goomba on the bottom and a bunch of unmoving stack goombas that it carries on top. They don't move, so they won't fall off when the bottom turns. Bug Report: Custom enemies like Jumping plants or normal plants or fire plants are glitched. Just load up the smw or the smb3 dlc and you should see them appearing in front of the pipe (and a static sprite where the enemy is spawned). Those are bad custom sprite layouts, its not a bug and: Capture....

the Goomba mask would probably require the most work if they would ever appear. Goomba mask would be one of the easier ones. Mario movement is really hard because I have to spend a lot of time testing it in every single environment and also making sure it doesn't feel like a cheap flash game I like...

you aren't playing v13 i removed quicksand for real in v13 thats why its not in the trailer you need to suggest it and say i forgot it 100 times to unlock it as a cheat in the settings menu Apparently a lot of people don't know about the group command. You can make big bricks with it. GIF2.gif
