This was absolutely amazing. The puzzles were all thought out nicely, the different entities were used great, animated blocks, everything. Just all great levels. I like doing things in an elimination-style type thing. It makes it more interesting and keeps you from trouncing the same opponent twice or something. I prefer that first suggestion, where it's 2 rounds with both contests merged into 1 myself. Sounds more challenging making a game out of sprites that you haven't seen until a few moments before it starts.

I've only had about 3 or so matches lag when playing with strangers and only 1 match with friends where lag was an issue. This accounts to 1v1, 3- and 4-player matches.
Other than that the online is near flawless. Definitely bounds above Brawl's.

I guess I'm lucky with the random matchmaking.

Given that Nintendo already sold 2.5 million copies of 3DS Smash alone, waiting will only do so much for the lag. Nintendo may have to beef up their servers before the Wii U version drops.

The mod isn't complete and the mappack wasn't released. All this mod does is just the character swaps as of right now. This mod hasn't been updated since last December, and most likely won't be continued unless TripleXero, the guy making it, decides to pick it back up.
