Re: "Art" Thread (A Thread for Shitty Art)
Maybe it's not flat, just missing shading to make the perspective stand out. It's a dick, though.

Don't mean to sound rude, but with the "I'm a great mappack maker" statement, I'd really like to see some of the previous mappacks you've made, even if just a few screenshots. That way we have a basis on how good the ones you're offering will be. Thanks!

Okay, decided to take the time to try this out and see what was up with it. Here's my blind playthrough: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvGLgT3VIs0 Now for some thoughts, if you're up to some criticism: • First and foremost, that static background that looks nearly the same as foreground is bad. Here's something I started working on ages ago, to act as a more Portal 2-centered type of mappack that slowly introduced the levels (instead of being immediately advanced or continuously simple/easy): Download Mari0 Stories: VR Some screenies: https://i.imgur.com/gLENOk9.png https://i.imgur.com/Kki...

I'll see if I can participate on this edition. Two things I'd like to comment, though: I don't think you should have the "Contestants" segment on the main post. We can't know for certain that the people who said they're going to participate will actually make it, and if feels otherwise unneeded; als...

Re: Mari0 SE crashes
Crashing before the menu loads usually means that you're loading an incompatible/missing mappack. To fix that, you have to go to %appdata%/LOVE/mari0_se/options.txt and change the "mappack:[name]" variable, replacing [name] by a mappack that you have and that is compatible (or just "smb").

For the custom cube dispensers, you should have the textures on the mappacks's "custom" folder, named "cubedispenser#.png", where the # is the id you set up to the entity in the editor Disclaimer: it's possible that the rightclick menu for cube droppers is broken in the editor Portalsides seems to c...
