Oh, I never thought of those issues with it starting too soon. I will look into fixing it. Like I said never fully tested it so the big mario issue is probably my fault. I will try to fix these problems and I have a few ideas for new features. I think the next build that works properly will be final...

Updated with new "overrideframetime" settings.txt command. Hat creators look at randomshit settings.txt for idea. I did not really fully test it, so might be a mistake somewhere. The new command is similar to modifiers and needs the same amount of parameters as the hat has frames/quads. Also because...

I got it working this morning before work but didn't have time to finish it, its just a new settings.txt command that allows you to override each delay one by one. I'm shooting for having it done tomorrow morning before work, too tired to mess with it tonight.

Added the modifier "behindplayer" that draws hat behind the player. Also removed left and right clicking on main menu selecting and exiting. What else was requested?

Stacking animated hats works fine in everything but the hat loader menu itself. The main menu, options, and ingame all properly render. I just never took the time to properly calc yadd for the hatloadermenu.

Hat stacking is fun, I noticed the code when first writing the crappy 10 minute version of hat loader, wondering what height was for. I had added a button to HL 1.6 that allowed you to do it with hat loader menu, but commented it out before releasing because I was too lazy to fix it for hatloadermen...

Mod looks cool, but if your mod doesn't support the current options.txt variables why not make it use a custom one? Like my current test build of hat loader uses hl_options.txt so as not to conflict with main build.

Skyy I hate to say it but if you can't even find where I pointed out, you are not going to be able to fix much. Enabling it took me all of 10 minutes when I first did it, and I suck at lua. Adding menu options for IP and clientname also took another 10 minutes. Like Maurice said it is very incomplet...

I did this on 1.1, not hard. There is a reason it is disabled but anyway, onlinemenu is a gamestate so just change it at anytime, i think I put it in menu_pressed() under key = "right".

If this is a modding thread, why not in the modding section?

Just off the top of my head, you have to re-add the require netplay.lua to main.lua and somewhere in it re-add or uncomment netplay_update(dt). then to activate the menu for c for client yada yada you have to change gamestate to "onlinemenu".
