So is there a way to turn certain enemies around so they start walking towards the right? Such as Goombas?

Even after all these awesome updates, that's the one thing I can't figure out.

Just in case anyone still bothered with the cheats, rainboom.lua has a typo in it. The game will crash if you attempt to rainboom.

Replace the string "drawq" with "draw" in rainboom.lua if you want to fix it.

Thanks for the left enemy-spawning fix. Just what I needed.

Also where are the scrollingstart/scollingcomplete values now? I used to edit the game.lua to adjust the scrolling to my liking in previous versions but those seem to be gone in this version. Is there another way I can adjust it?

Also would it be too much trouble if you could make enemies spawn when approaching them from the right?

I attempted to make a level that goes from right to left and none of the offscreen enemies spawn in.

Still having trouble with centering Mario in the middle of the screen when the screen scrolls. I've edited game.lua to my liking to fix it and even added some code to make my setting ignore autoscroll (can't find the line to edit for vertical scrolling though) but it'd be great if I could just edit ...

I might as well also add that I discovered that enemies do not spawn when you're scrolling the screen to the left.

I have a feeling that's just a problem with the base game and not the mod, though.

How hard would to be for an idiot with minimal coding experience like myself to port an entity from Mari0 SE to this mod?

Specifically I wanted the action block from SE with its easy toggling function since it would really fit well with the pack I'm making now.

Is it an easy fix to change the camera tracking so that Mario is always centered no matter which way the camera scrolls?

It's pretty much the only other feature I was concerned about besides the gamepad issue, but I can wait until the next big update if it's not worth looking into at the moment.

With JoytoKey, try using the wasd keys instead. Also, just as a check, try setting the controls in the options ingame while using a controller. Don't know if i can help much because JoytoKey should treat the arrow keys exactly the same as if they were being pressed. You could try making sure you set the controls for player 1 to use the arrow keys. Settings don't carry over from unmodded mari0 so you might have just forgotten to change them...

A small suggestion, if it interests you: A shortcut to the menu screen in editor mode through the mouse, like the middle click or something (since all it currently does is reset it to the tile eraser). The Hammer Bros. keep killing themselves as thrown hammers are scripted so that they kill upon contact with any enemy. Even the ones they've just thrown.

More often than not, I can wait them out until they throw one then immediately jump and whack themselves with their own hammer.

Minecraft mode no longer crashes when "Using Mouse" is set to no, but now I'm shooting portals with my pickax. Fucking awesome, but I'm pretty sure you didn't want that to happen. Not a bug. If you drop the cube in a solid object (that is, any of its pixels overlapping something solid), it'll automatically shove it away and drop it behind you.
