Re: Mari0 the best of stabyourself *Trailer!*
Well since I can't really tell just how hard/easy the levels I create are, I'm not going to bother with custom tiles just to find out it might be to easy/hard to be in that world. Is it world 2 hard, world 7 hard, Etc. To me all "my" levels seem world 1 hard. I'm hoping you might be able to tell me ...

Well after taking a few days away from the game, I redid that/did another level. There is a laser (only 1 red as well as a blue.) in it. Re: Mari0 the best of stabyourself *Trailer!*
Well here's my 2nd attempt. This one (again) has no custom tiles YET or appears to be following any specific theme, but it will with some modifying/editing. It is only a pre/beta/demo/test (or however you want to say it) level, so some modifying/editing would be needed of course. That's all if it ge...

Re: Mari0 the best of stabyourself *Trailer!*
While it looks playable, I don't think it'd be fit for this map pack, mainly for the excessive amount of lasers. Not to mention (i know there are no custom tiles, however) the level looks as if it follows no theme. Looking deeper into it, I've decided I'm not really comfortable with putting in puzz...

Re: Mari0 the best of stabyourself *Trailer!*
I thought I would try my luck and submit a level as well. This is gonna be more of a pre/alpha ver. There's no custom tiles yet mainly because I'm not really sure if it would go in world 3, 5, 7, etc. Test it out see if anything needs to be fixed, changed, or whatever. Hope you like it. 1st a couple...

Re: Regarding map format changes in SE
Maurice said no to redirection cubes I'm certain. He said it's pointless in a 2D game. Think about it. You can easily use portals in 2D to move the laser. But then again what if the map doesn't have portalable surfaces and the creator doesn't want to use conversion gel? That's what I'm thinking. Th...

Re: Regarding map format changes in SE
About the companion cubes: I know Maurice posted a pic of one being used on that new purple ("gravity") gel, but will the cubes work on/get covered in the other gels (blue, orange) like in the real portal games? I was just wondering partly because they aren't right now. About the "redirecting cubes"?...

I've had this idea for a while now. Have tiles/blocks mario could walk behind kind of like in mario 3. In 3 he had to jump on top of the big white block and push down for a few secs then he was walking behind some/all blocks. What if we were to have something like that here. Maybe not just like that...
