Yeah, the issue is you're compiling the mari0poisonshroom folder. Don't compress the folder, compress all the files inside the folder.

You use a mac right? If so, there was a problem with the way love 0.8 handled opening files with OSX 10.9 and higher.

Yes, when you add dt, multiply all constant values in your code by 60 and it will speed up again.

Yeah, like I said, just multiply all the constant values (5) by the frames per second you used to get (probably 60) and then it will run exactly like it used to, except the same on all computers.

Yeah, I have no idea if this would work in the browser. TCP port might be possible, but I'd imagine you'd need to condense a lot of the data I send to make it viable, which would require a lot of work. I wouldn't recommend putting in the effort, mainly because its been a year and a half of this mod ...

You shouldn't judge an engine on how the first tests look. There could be whole types of infrastructure coded for creating enemies, levels, lighting, etc. and you wouldn't know from a single screenshot.

I don't know what you mean by switch characters, like skins? To do that you need to leave the game you're currently in, change in the options menu, then join once the server is in lobby mode again.

I mean the video was uploaded by Xero, so I'd guess it's real. Level intro can be easily removed from Mari0 with a little modding. Also the unrounded timer in the top right after he grabs the axe kinda shows there's left-over debugging for the mod.

There's been some problems with Twitch security. If you have a shared password between twitch and another account you should definitely change it, there's a chance that the password could have been captured in plain text.
