I guess I'm the only one who doesn't really like the idea. I mean, it looks neat in the gif... but I'm excited that Mari0 is going to be a conglomeration of Portal and Mario and not a different game. I guess I'm just a purist! :)

I think the games source is going to be released. It's programmed in Lua... So yeah, make those power-ups you mentioned!
