you need to make the mod ignor .rar/.zip files located in the folder, that's what made it crash.

downloaded the update, downloaded all the characters in the OP.
now whenever i try to get past chell, it gives me an error

now you cant select custom colors, they will turn default when starting a level

and about posting the files, they are way too many, i use a tileset, and every level has at least one background file, summing up 29 images at the current state of development. Do you mean the code because the background is part of the code. Just go into this mappacks folder and copy the notebook's...

of course the belt is colorable, 3 colors: yellow(hair and belt thing), green (obvious), and brown (boots and belt) while keeping the skin and eyes uneditable.
and they are as good as i can make them atm, he is completely sprited by hand, using mario's feet as reference

you should put right click to change graphic in se that would still liit the skins to whateer nuber would be added, it would be cool to be able to select what spriteset a enemy uses one by one, i mean castle, underground or overworld... but let's not derail this topic anymore, my answer has been an...

could you change the folder where the characters go, so instead of the mari0 folder, it could go in a folder called characters INSIDE the mari0 folder, to keep stuff clean and organized...

i think having a server based catalogue is better than built-in, anyone can easilly go the their mappacks folder, the main issue is FINDING the mappacks, and also, a very important thing about this is the freedom to upload whatever mappack you want (as long as it's urs of course) be it the best made...

i dont consider it entity spam at all, since it's all pretty planned out, nothing is completely random, at every "hit" the boss gets a bit harder, which means it'll attack more, the falling monsters are supposed to represent gohma larvas, since they always fall from the ceiling, and well, the bullet...
